Cornell Colbert, CFPM, LBC, CMQ/OE, began his culinary career in 1976 at Vinnie's Italian Restaurant in Andalusia, PA. His experience spans restaurant, hotel, casino, healthcare and catering services. Mr. Colbert has led the opening of several facilities and insured their food safety and quality success.

Mr. Colbert has also received AFC approved certifications in: Nutrition, Food Sanitation and Safety, Food and Labor Cost Management, Business Communication, Supervision and Computer Science. 

He is a ServSafe certified instructor and proctor for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Examination of the National Restaurant Association.

In addition, Mr. Colbert has earned Lean Bronze Certification from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from the American Society of Quality and is recognized as a Lean Continuous Improvement, Waste Elimination, Organizational Development and Achieving Profit  expert.
